KNOW TO LIVE BETTER

Oil, like bread, is a protagonist every day on our tables and in our dishes, yet despite this daily use for many, in much of the world, it still remains an illustrious unknown.

We know almost everything about fish, meat, wine and we know little or nothing about oil, especially extra virgin olive oil.

How is all this possible? How is it possible that in an era in which man is full of knowledge and knowledge is so generalized, the simplest and most essential things are not known?

What is oil? How was it born? What does it contain? What are its characteristics?
What is its biological and nutritional value? What differences exist between a virgin oil and an extra-virgin oil?
A series of legitimate questions, which absolutely cannot remain unanswered, as it is truly absurd that we know so much about sport, economics, IT, politics and then we do not know the most basic aspects that distinguish a food that, beyond its well-established virtues, represents for all Italians, but for us Calabrians in particular. an important part of our history, our food tradition, our culture.
